A patient craft, made for modern living
Melbourne Tallow began in a small Melbourne workshop with a single tub, a slow flame, and the conviction that the best ingredients are the ones with nothing to hide. Today we render in small monthly batches, sourced from regenerative Victorian farms, and pour every tub by hand.
Single ingredient, honestly sourced
Our tallow is rendered from the kidney suet of 100% grass-fed, pasture-raised cattle. No fillers, no fragrance, no fractionation — just what comes out of the pot.
Triple-rendered for purity
We render low and slow, then filter three times through unbleached muslin. The result is a near-neutral aroma, an off-white colour at room temperature, and a creamy mouthfeel that sinks in without residue and won't unbalance your skin.

We've always believed skincare should be something you could name every ingredient of. One rendered fat, nothing added, earning its place in your daily routine.
